For a while right after we bought this place, I kept a remodeling blog. I called it The Ugly House. Can’t imagine why.
It’d been quite a while since I looked at this “motivational” poster, which pretty much wrote itself. I’d forgotten about that phone with the huge keys, and the fact that the paint in the living room was the same shade of turquoise as the clock in the dining room.
We liked the clock, by the way, so it’s still there. So is the paneling.

Smart, funny and useful. Can’t beat that. Also, it’s a deep cartoon, but it’s designed so that each section fits on a monitor screen. Again, smart.
The only way this could be better is if Batman had referred to the waiter by name. And if the waiter’s name was Biff.
