I’d been using the same template in Blogger since I started my photoblog in 2006. Since then, Blogger has updated its templates and its interface, and it has become harder for me to use. Besides, I prefer Tumblr, where I already run The Occasional Odd Thought, a blog mostly of other people’s work and my (rare) ruminations. Tumblr’s Dashboard is a great feature, and I appreciate the culture of sharing. (If you’re viewing this on your Dashboard, by the way, click the photo to see a larger version.) Also, editing my template’s HTML and CSS is much easier here than it is on Blogger. The interface is a lot friendlier, what with the larger window and color coding. So here I am. Enjoy. I’ll leave my Blogger posts where they are, including my most recent. After six years on Blogger, my photoblog has a new home - here on Tumblr. Come have a look!
